Listen to James Danderfer’s “Jelly Roll Suite”

As he explains in his blog, Vancouver clarinetist James Danderfer was “commissioned earlier this year by CBC Radio to compose a suite of music in tribute to the late great Jelly Roll Morton . . . . to celebrate his time spent living and working in Vancouver back in 1919.” In his latest post, James provides mp3′s of the Suite.
