Coastal Jazz & Blues names new executive director

Coastal Jazz & Blues Society, producers of the annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival, has today announced the appointment of its new executive director. Julie Smith replaces Robert Kerr, who left that position last year to become program director for the Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad. Smith has been employed by CJBS for the last twelve years.
